A Florence inspired project, based on developing dubied/ domestic knitting samples.
Inspired by the deathless Koschei from the Russian folklore. Koschei is called as deathless because he has a complete layering process of hiding his soul, first into a needle, then put the needle into an egg, into a duck, into a rabbit, then he put the rabbit into a box and bury it underneath a tree on a lonely island.

The storyline was recreated by drawing as the new interpretation of teh process of hiding his soul. This is such an ironic story because death is such a huge topic that draws lots of attention. However, by only thinking about the meaning of death, wasting lots of time by trying to avoid death, it slowly kills the energy and honesty of being alive.
